Kenneth Ehlen, BS, DVM

Combining 30 years of practice ownership and practice valuation expertise makes Dr. Ken Ehlen a valued business advisor. He takes pride in helping veterinary medicine pass to the next generation through a strong commitment to coaching practice owners.

Dr. Ehlen is licensed to practice veterinary medicine in three stat es and a licensed real estate broker in Missouri, Illinois, and Wisconsin. He earned his doctorate in veterinary medicine from Colorado State University. Dr. Ehlen is a charter member of the Association of Veterinary Practice Management Consultants and Advisors and a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. He is also a member of the Missouri VMA, Kansas VMA, Nebraska VMA, Wisconsin VMA, Minnesota VMA, Iowa VMA and Illinois VMA.

Kirsten E. Poppen, J.D.

Kirsten serves both Owners and Buyers in the Midwest territory as a Practice Valuation Consultant. In addition to her practice valuation expertise, she has extensive experience as a business negotiator with her background in private practice civil litigation.

Kirsten earned her Juris Doctor degree, with Order of the Coif honors, from the University of Kansas School of Law. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University. Kirsten is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas and also serves as General Counsel to the Midwest office.

Beverley Ehlen, BA

Beverley is a licensed real estate broker in Missouri, Kansas, and California. A graduate of California State University in Long Beach, she also has postgraduate training in business administration, management, and counseling. With more than 20 years’ experience in real estate, along with working in veterinary management and administration, Beverley brings a wide range of experience and expertise to the Simmons Midwest office.
